I've had problems with my H3. It's only
got 500 miles in it. Do you think I can
trade it in for a a luxury model. I have
a base model with automatic transmission.

Talk to your dealership but if you are still witin your first 30 days you may have some options. If they say no, then call a lawyer in your city and get legal advise if the truck has signifigant problems.

Your problems are too minor to ask for a square trade (exchange). You can trade in your H3, but it will cost you quite a bit!

Look up your states lemon laws, not sure what they are but I know each state is different.

it's all a dealer thing but you better hurry, when heat for this truck starts to cool it will cost you. I think you will loose 2-4k unless the dealer really steps up.
