Why I drive a Hummer.
Coming out of the store today, I see this beautiful shiny new Prius parked next to the curb. So new it still had the dealer tags on it. The driver looked pretty smug as he was backing out of the spot....and promptly scraped his entire front painted bumper along a good 5' stretch of curb next to the car. Doesn't look so new anymore.....I had to laugh, it was like a 6" high curb, my truck eats those for breakfast!

Hahahaha....
I very obviously pissed off a Prius driver today, by flooring it right by him, he sure had himself a nice tissy fit that made me giggle and do it again.
Bad day for Prius' owners today!

Re: Why I drive a Hummer.
A couple of weeks ago we ordered curb side take out from Outback and while I am sitting there waiting on our food a tree hugger looking couple comes walking out of the restaurant with their too small kids. I couldn't understand at first why it seemed to upset the parent so much that both kids were staring at my truck and one was point with a big smile and kept saying Hummer over and over again. I could tell this was really pissing off the parent and didn't understand why until they stop to get in their Prius
Stupid leaf lickers probably believe it gets about 3 MPG

Re: Why I drive a Hummer.
That's funny Stacy.
I love little kids in little cars. They're always pointing and the parents are staring straight ahead.

Re: Why I drive a Hummer.
Everyone likes Hummers! Some just don't have the balls to admit it.
See, the man in the prius has to accept the curb. He has to accept that it limits his freedom. The curb is concrete and it will win vs. the Prius. I don't have to accept the curb.
I don't understand Prius drivers because in almost every study the Jetta TDI gets better mileage and you can keep some of your dignity.
You know what someone who really gives a sht about resources and the environment drives? A bike or better yet Nikes.
I like my environmentalist long haired, veggie eating, walking not driving, and stoned out of their mind. Not the suburbanites pretending to give a crap about the environment because they feel guilty.
Hybrids should have been SUV's. A diesel-electric truck could pull anything and crawl very well too.

Re: Why I drive a Hummer.
Yeah... sorry for the rant. Stacy, seeing that happen would have made me feel better too. I got attitude from a lady driving a Suburban today who ran me into her own grass and I think I am still mad and confused over that one.
I'm going to wash my Hummer, maybe I will feel better>>>

This is the statement of the year. When will folks wake up and realize that gas mileage is not the be-all end-all of car buying?

I would have to agree with that. What really bothers me is hummer owners hatting other hummer owners. Is it so hard to wave back...
