Oh No....!!!!! Not Another "TPMS" Question..!!!!
I did a search but gave up after reading about 20 posts...
Here's the question.... What is the low pressure that the TPMS alerts you of a low tire.??
I rotated my stock "ZM-6" 33" tires at 6000 miles about a month ago and set the tire pressure to "35 LBS" according to the manual and reset the TPMS system accourding to the manual. A few days ago I rechecked the tire pressures as it has gotten colder.
They were down and average of 3-4 lbs per tire. When does the TPMS system notifi you of a low tire at what pressure?? Seems to me ..it should have gone off.
What's your experience..??

Its designed to warn you of a impending flat. The alert should go @ 20 psi + or minus a few...

Thanks dude,
You'd think they would tell you that somewhere in the manual...

Re: Oh No....!!!!! Not Another "TPMS" Question..!!!!
I set my tire pressure to 35 psi. As the temperature has dropped, I have seen a 3psi drop cause my TPMS to indicate low tire pressure. This does not occur at start up. You have to drive for a few minutes before it trips. Then, as the tires heat up, the pressure builds and the indicator goes off.

Re: Oh No....!!!!! Not Another "TPMS" Question..!!!!
i had an unnoticed nail in a rear tire that caused an annoying slow leak.
i have the stock 33" desert duelers.
the tpm light seemed to go on anytime the tire pressure was below about 30 psi.
like the other post, it went on a few minutes after start up.
hope this helps.

Thanks guys.. Mine has yet to go off even down to 30 PSI. But as you state it takes a while after driving for it to go off.
Like I said..you would think that they would lay out the operation of this system in detail in the manual...

Re: Oh No....!!!!! Not Another "TPMS" Question..!!!!
Somebody said the TPM alert will also go off if there is a certain difference among the tire pressures. Is this true, or is it strictly a low pressure limit on any tire?
