It is my understanding that the dark green/white striped wire from the Eclipse needs to connect to to pin #4, connector "A", on the H2's wiring harness (to allow voice guidance). Can anyone confirm/advise?

The unit must connect to a VSS wire to function properly. Dark green/white is the correct color, but I am not sure where the connector you reference is located. You can get that wire at the instrument cluster or at the pcm. I am sure you could get it at the bcm, just not sure which location.
