Re: Question for SMA
I heard it was competition from people selling personalized sidesteps and grout float hood handles.

Re: Question for SMA
Can they give an answer as to how they ran the business into the ground?

Re: Question for SMA
At the high point of their expansion, Hummer sales hit rock bottom and the majority or thier busniess from hummer dealers went in the crapper. New Bldg. Equipment, more employees, GM problems? Who knows the rest.

Re: Question for SMA
Looks like they missed the boat (substantial H3 sales and related product sales).

Re: Question for SMA
SMA was one of the only companies making real off-road accessories for Hummers and they couldn?t even make it so what does that tell you? While Hummers are great off-roaders the majority of buyers aren?t using them for that purpose, at least not enough to support off-road aftermarket interest. I know many here don?t like the new Toyota FJ but by contrast there are so many companies making off-road products for the FJ that it?s hard to keep track of all the new lifts, winch bumpers, sliders, etc?

I'd still like to hear what SMA has to say to the original question.
