Truck Weight
Went over a scale today and tipped it at 7840lbs.
Those little cars better pay attention to what they pull out in front of. The DRTY bumper may be the last thing they see.

Re: Truck Weight
I'll bet mine's heavier with all of Neil's steel stuff (bumpers, skid plate, mid rail), the loaded roof rack, loaded vault, etc. I always assumed about 8k. It's probably about right. Maybe a little more.

Mine is well over 8k also and probably pushing the max GVW pretty close w/ HD UCP and rocksliders.
Hi-lift jack,2 winches w/wirerope, extra battery, 2 snatch blocks, 2 straps, plenty of shackels, spare halfshaft, other spare parts, aircomp, axe, saw, shovel, handtools etc. I can't think of one thing I could leave behind. Sure as you do take one piece out and leave it @ home that will be the item you need and it doesn't do a damn bit of good sitting in the garage.

Re: Truck Weight
Wow, I guess I should load the truck up with trail gear and hit the scale again.

Trent and I hit the scales on the way to Reno yesterday, and mine with all the offroad gear and stuff was 7850 lbs.

Heaviest I've ever seen(loaded down) was 8150. I skipped lunch that day.
