New Rear vision system
The H3 alpha appears to have a very nice rear view vision system.
"But what's cooler is the Rear Vision system screen that pops out from the side of the larger than normal rearview mirror. A camera mounted near the rear bumper helps the driver see what's behind before backing up when reverse is engaged."

Any of you can get to the parts # you need to copy and paste this to our old but golden plain vanilla H3's ?

Re: New Rear vision system
I would love to hook something like that up. I don't remember seeing it on the Alpha I test drove. First thing though is to replace the front door panels with the 08 models. Then I can actually use the window buttons.

Re: New Rear vision system
This is an option on all H3's, not just Alpha's. Also, it might be easier to go aftemarket as the factory one is integratedin with the IP Harness and chassis harness.

Re: New Rear vision system
Was curious as to why the Camera is on the bumper?
Seems like the lens will get dirty fast, especially in the winter
Seems like its the first thing to get hit and add cost to the bill
Also seems like on a cold morning the exhaust steam will fog up the camera
Why didnt they put it at the top of the Rig?
My after market camera is at the top, linked with my navigation and I dont have to be in Reverse too see who is behind me.

Wait till you see the new display on demand, the LCD is behind the mirror when it activates you see it , but when its not on you just see the rearview mirror. Look for it in '09my I cant stand the blocky current mirror
