shock mount solution?
Ground Force makes a shock mount for the H3 that's level with the springs instead of an inch or two below. It's part of a lowering kit, but I bet you could buy it separately. I don't know if you'd need new shocks, but this would really improve the ground clearance.
Here are pics installed and next to the stock mount.

Here's a pic of the stock mount (installed) for comparison.

In working on and looking at the H3 I have often thought it would be nice to have that mount gone or moved up to allow more clearance..I just fired off an email asking about getting these seperate from the (hurts to say it) Lowering kit.

Good find. Wonder if they are as strong as stock.

Hmmm, is that bolt supposed to be bent like that?
I'd be curious to know if these would work, seeing as I need a new mount anyways.

Re: shock mount solution?
They look good... With the exception of the bolt heads looking very exposed and vulnerable...
Maybe they're not, but from this view they look like hungry rock food.

Now if you could mount Amstar's skid plate over the GroundForce shock mount, you'd have the best of both worlds. Come on Amstar!!!

The way my dealership marks up accessories they might as well not even bring them to market as far as I am concerned if they are only sold through dealers as planned

Re: shock mount solution?
Any suspension experts know if the stock shock would bottom out (is that the right word?) using the GroundForce mounts?

My dealer said the same thing... a couple of months ago. I think that Amstar must have the same supply chain as Rough Country.
