New h2 owner
Just bought an04 h2 with 12k miles, traded an 04 denali. I am interested maybe putting on a new intake and exhaust. My goals are better performance and mpg. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

IMO, you won't improve your mpg's at all, and probably won't noticeably improve your performance with either option. As far as the former, you will certainly never get enough more mileage to make up for what you spent.

If your concerned about mileage the best thing you can do is drive less or drive slower, I get a solid 12mpg around town but I drive easy. The H2 is a 6400lb rig so stomping the gas pedal doesnt really get you anywhere fast anyhow. With that being said anything that weighs 6400lbs is gonna need some good HP increase to give you any noticeable performance gain.
Congrats on your new ride

Re: New h2 owner
I think that the exhaust is a must, not as much for performance but pleasure. I have a corsa exhaust and love it. I also am running and air raid intake and a whipple supercharger. Like they said above, drive sensable and you will get the best you can get. I am around 13 mpg's. You will get used to the mileage. A few mpg's a gallon really isn't worth the money, do it for pleasure.
thanks

Re: New h2 owner
The sidemirrror thing is funny. I never knew that I had it until someone a couple of weeks ago asked a questions about it. So the other day when I was driving down the road, I found it. I never read the owners manual, wonder what else I will discover that I have had that I had no clue about.
