Default Humtech???? Anyone??

Going to try to make this long story short...

Air suspention is not working. We have pulled the compressor, (the whole plate)
And need to know if there is a way to test either of these parts???

No way can I afford to buy with the hit and miss method. We have an ohm reader, but have been unable to find what the ohm readings should be. (on either the modulator or compressor.).

Any help would be appreciated. Or even ideas at this point.

I have found the compressor for @ $800. and the modulator @ 500$. Again, before we invest that much would like to be able to test and be fairly certain which is bad.

***ETA***. Sorry. This is a 2004 H2 oversize tires so with the suspention bad, I can't even drive to a shop. Thankx

Thank you

Sheila

If your on a budget I'd just switch over to the springs for the time being, you can always go back to air later when you have the funds/time.

As for testing I can't tell you.

Yep, we are looking at springs. That is still a 200$ fix from what I have been able to find. Just want to make sure first! Thanks though..

HUMTECH is an unknown quantity at this point

To test the compressor you could put power to the red wire and ground on the black to see if compressor runs. That will be in the 3 wire connector on the compressor(third wire will be yellow thats the overtemp signal wire) But if it does come on does not mean it still makes enough volume to fill the bags, compressor could be weak. Did it come on at all in the truck? Did you test the relay that is inside the left front of framerail approx below the brake booster? Relays were common failures due to the close proximity to the exhaust manifold. As for the module no real way to test it without scan tool.

Yes, checked relays. The air compressor came on; something would leak between uses, -did leak very slow approx 11 hours- and would fill up when truck started. Then yesterday, it would no longer come on. Now at a total loss. I did read all the threads started on this already.

Ok..I am going to check the web for info, (and on here) but I am wondering if I go to a junk yard first, what kind of truck would have the size springs I need? Again, thanks for all the help!!!! ( or if I do go to a parts store what springs would I ask for, I don't always trust them)
