I was told yesterday that the chime you hear through the speakers (eg. key left in ignition, etc) the volume can be programmed through the radio somehow.

Has anyone heard this before?

I'm going to get instructions from the tech that told me and post it. I've never heard of that before.

yeah, I think it is button 6...you hold it down. But rodster is right, it needs to be factory.

I have the stock system but it's not nav. Can you still do that with the factory system?

Can't help you with that one. I only know the nav touchscreen setup.
