I am using a 9500 setup from a previous vehicle. Wondering if those of ya'll that have the one made for hummer are able to open hood fully with it mounted in front receiver?

I also can't leave winch on rear due to spare hitting the winch.

I am asking this because it appears that the latest 9500s out are lower profile than my older setup.

Originally when I ran the power cables, I put switch under hood. After I found out I couldn't open hood with winch in front, I mounted a switch inside cab so I don't have to remove winch before activating solenoid.

I was never able to fully open the hood when I had my winch on. I just set a soft cloth on the top of the winch so's I wouldn't scratch the grill, and carefully set the grill on the winch.
