Hey Guys, I picked up my H2 last week! Took it off road the very next day! Love it!

I think I have found the PERFECT spot to mount a trailer brake controler. Its not in your way at all, doesn't hit your legs, but is easy to reach and easy to see the display. SOMETIMES things work out perfectly -)

Also, the drawbar I ordered from etrailer just about clears the spare tire and DOESNT require an extension. Check it out:

Rather you need an extension or not that ball is a long way from the receiver. There's alot more leverage there and if your towing something heavy theres potential for disaster. If I were you I would call the manfacturer of the hitch and see what they think.

FYI - I went through the same thing except with my RV. I was towing a 3000lb boat. I ended up having to weld to new receivers (for a total of three) into the hitch assembly.

Yep, I agree with you X. The leverage makes the tongue weight an issue. Lucky my trailer is less than 1/2 the hitch cap, so Im ok....but yea, I hate doing it this way too...
