I'm not really into fuel doors but I did buy my roof rack from some folks here in California. They are die hard Hummer Folk that say the original maker of AM GENERAL racks created the one that I purchased for my H2, anyway they have a black fuel door that some of you may like so check it out and let me know what you think. I am sincerely curious not because I want a fuel door but because I haven't heard anyone else mention this site. They did a great job for me.

H2 Doctor
I do like that fuel door and may buy it, but don't get Hummerman started again.

Here is a PIC from our Florida Hummer beach Run - I think the fuel door in this PIC looks good!

Buckeye,
I have posted several times about the site you mentioned. I have one of the first black fuel doors from 4x4...they are a direct distibutor of the H2 Pro-fit fuel door. GREAT people to work with...they are the best!
Pricey but WELL worth every penny...IMHO.

Patriot, Nice fuel door can you put together another group shot of pics of your fuel door.
The 6 picture montage is not quite enough for me. Can you shoot pics in different lighting.

Patriot, I didn't realize (or didn't pay attention) that you had posted the 4x4 website so I apologize for the redundancy in this mention. I purchased the 5' rack from these folks and was very pleased. Given the poor customer service that many of us have received from dealers, after market operations and more I thought it appropriate to mention them. The woman who helped was the one of the owners. She was kind enough to provide me with her cell phone number should I need assistance installing it over the weekend. I considered this above and beyond the call of duty and will certainly buy from them again.

I thought I would update you on my fuel door situation. I have the chrome lockable door, but have ordered the black lockable door. I will post pictures after it arrives.

Hummerman:
Please don't be offended by my question that is not my intent.
That said, you seem to be a fuel door "phile" you are truly obsessed, I was just wondering why do you have financial interests in them just curious, honest!

Your right, by me updating HummerMan on my new fuel door, I am just enabling him.
We all must use tough love with HummerMan and not discuss our fuel door issues with him any more.
Sorry HummerMan it's for your own good. We are all going to work together to get this monkey off your back. One day you will thank us for freeing you from this demon fuel door issue. Be strong HummerMan.
