I am recovering from good food, margiritas and hot tub.
I am planning on going out and gardening. I started this new flower bed. I weeded and hand tilled yesterday and I found a wolf spider hole. I saw like 30 or so medium sized ones then crawling around and looking at me. I killed a couple big ones. Then I found the Mama. Big huge one with a big eggsack hanging off of it's butt. About this big (at least on my monitor anyway)
I stabbed it with my little shovel, right in half and then destroyed the egg bawl. I don't want to put any chemicals down because I may grow some edilble stuff in there. I killed once and I'll kill again.
What is everyone else up to?

Too bad!!!!! They like to hunt and eat poisonous spiders and other insects and are virtually harmless to people.
They don't make any goofy webs to crud up the outside of your house or anything.
You killed a great little neighbor.

Now I'm going to have nightmares about that spider. Ick. I especially hate it when all those little ones come running out. Ick ick.
Yardwork for me too. Have to wait for little guy to go down for a nap so I can mow and edge, pick up dog poopie, and hopefully get the area next to my veggie garden de-weeded and mulched. It's like a jungle in there, I've been bad about maintaining it. The veggies are looking good tho - jalapenos are almost ready to harvest, and I have green beans, peas, bell peppers and tomatoes bearing fruit already. One reason why South Texas rocks.
Hope to have some sort of a break and watch a bit of Talladega. Just for the wrecks. Specifically, the ones Gordo and Johnson are involved in.
Basking in the glow of the Devils elimination of the Rangers yesterday. Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep!
I also have to make my down-to-the-wire list. Hubby comes home in about 3 weeks, so I need to figure out what I need to do before he gets back. Like hide all my recent shoe purchases. Oops.

After I chow down on some Waffle House hash browns, double, covered, and chunked, I have to clean up the house.
Damn satellite is out again (damn Dish Network), so looks like no race unless I cruise over to my moms.
Hmmm...maybe I'll just go shopping. I'm in the mood for some new summer stuff!
Hope everyone has a good day.

Oh Gimme a Break!!
P- you should have seen them. It was looking like it wanted to eat me, I felt threatened. There are at least 40 of it's brothers and sisters creeping around. Next time, I'll save it and give it to you.

Well, what do you expect PARAGON? She's got that violent little avatar. She's a pent up bastion of shovel wielding fury set on arachnid destruction. Probably even has a bug zapper on the back porch...

Recovering from Fiesta here in S.A.
Will spend the rest of the day visiting with the Kids.
Then it'll be time to Head on back To Va.
It will be a long lonely flight, and will seem like forever till I see them again.
Oh well...flight attendant, give me another beer!!!

Been really busy the last week or so. Working in the yard and getting all the pretty flowers planted so that my 5 year old can pick them and I get pissed and then she looks at me with that beautiful face and says "But Mommy I picked them for you, can you go put them in a vase?" at that point I think I guess this is really why I plant them.
Had to do a stupid baby shower for one of Paragon's cousins wife today. Really stupid these people should not have anymore children!!!!!! I told them my present to them was a vasectomy. They did not laugh. I thought it was really funny. One of their girls is the same age as my oldest and she can not speak well she is in speech and she was telling on my 5 year old. My 5 year old was listening to her go on about what she had done. After all of that my daughter looked at me and said "what language is that? She does not speak english like us." It was so sad and funny all at the same time. So I guess I'm saying my Sunday sux!!!!!
Maybe tomorrow will be better. Good nite all!
