Finally, the day has arrived! I'm picking up my Boulder Grey Lux package with chrome side steps, brushguard, and marker lights tonight at Cochran in Monroeville.

My salesman told me that my MSRP is close to $42,000 now with all the options I got.

I'll post pics this week.

Basketball,

Congratulations $42K MSRP What options did you get on it or does this include that taxes? Do you know if the marker lights were actually installed yet? Please do post pics.

Newbie,

I chose the Boulder Grey Lux that Cochran was getting in. I didn't order mine specifically.

Anyway, it came in on the truck Friday evening and they were putting on the accessories Saturday i.e., side steps, brushguard, splashguards (I hope), and the marker lights.

The marker lights are costing me around $800 installed. I guess they are charging around $200 to install them, oh well.

That $42K is stretching it a bit. I'll find out tonite obviously. I was between $39 - $40K before the marker lights.

Jim F. at Cochran is a great guy, highly recommended. No extra charges yet, I'm getting MSRP.

Newbie,

Yep, the accessorizing is costing the $$$. I don't care though, I've been waiting for this day for a long time, since we heard about them coming out last year.

It is only $$$, that is why I work.

I'll definitely post some pics.

Hey Portage Basketball H3, if you haven't closed the deal yet, you should ask your dealer to install the marker lights for the price listed in the hummer website if not for less. Since I'm pauing cash for my H3 my dealer gave me a discount on all the accessories and I found out that their price INCLUDING instalation is aroung $100 less than the price listed in the hummer website, so you should NOT pay more than that price, they're already making money out of it.

Congrats Portage. I just got my buyers order from the dealer. They left out the XM radio, but this might be a good thing. I am going to get the Pioneer navi, and someone said that I will need to buy the XM radio stuff again. Hopefully my ride will be here soon.

Newbie,
I forgot about Hummer of savannah, they have a bunch of trucks.

Firm,

Thanks for the info on Savannah. My dealer says they should start getting shipments in a week or so. Any news on when yours will come in? So you decided you are going with the Pioneer? Should be a good unit for you. I have been planning on leasing but the rate quotes I am seeing, I am really thinking about trying to get an H2 SUT instead. Especially with the Employee pricing program going on.

Newbie,
You won't believe this. I called Hummer today to find out where my car was. They said that the order hasn't been placed yet. Once the order is placed, then I will get a Target production week, and that sometimes it takes a month to place the order. I am pissed. I'm not waiting another 2-3 months for this car. I'm going to call Lynch and see what they have. It's 13 hours from Jax. I don't need new car right now (mine is a 2002), I just really liked this one. I might just hold off a while. This whole thing has me pretty dejected. If you ordered a car, stay on the dealer. Good luck.

Firm,

WTF That is absolutely ridiculous. Did you have to leave a deposit when you ordered? Did they give any excuses or just the usual, sorry, don't know what happened. Not that there is any excuses for it.

You know whats funny?

I ordered mine from Lund but as some of you know I got mine from Dallas instead. Two days after I got back into town with my new H3 Lund called and told me that my order had shipped and is enroute. He told me that it would arrive here in three days.
I told him to call me bacause I may pick it up for my wife. That was 13 days ago, the order still hasn't arrived. I was on the Lund lot today, they only have 1 base model and it's sold. Why did they tell me three days if they couldn't deliver in 13 days?
