Default Engine temperature

Just question to those who have possibly dual fans or and 160 degree t-stat. We got first snow today and temperature high 20's. My engine temperature (by the meter) will not go over 160 degrees. Does this sound right? Can it really be that driving in these conditions and with this setup, will not get engine temperature over 160 degrees after driving like 15 minutes?

Default Re: Engine temperature

Well i dont know if the guages are exactly accurate. But you would need to know that temp range thermostat you have to know what normal is. If you have a 160 degree thermostat , yes it sounds right.
