Default Radio Removal

Okay, I did a search of the forum and need help. I saw the post by HappyJack about removing the center console. That is great. Now what about the radio console? How does that come apart? I have to replace the AAI-GM24 that I blew with the plug in of a CB. I wanted to hear the CB through the radio because the small speaker in the unit is really hard to hear. Now I have more work. I understand the center console, but need to under stand how to remove the radio to install the replacement.

Thanks for the help.

if I recall correctly, once you get the center console off, you can easily remove a few screws and remove the whole center trim peice when, and then there are a few screws to remove the radio.

Did it a while back... not sure if I'm remembering correctly though.
