I figured that this was a general enough question that it was worth splitting off from my Wheel Well problem thread.
What exactly is the GM Warranty cover. Since this is my first real off road vehicle (my ZR2 Blazer didn't see any trail time) I'm curious what is covered. I bought the adventure package so I would hope the warranty would cover at least moderate trail use (again see thread on Wheel Well). I certainly don't expect GM to pay for scratches, scuffs and such but as far as the mechanics and things like skid plates, exhaust?
Any insight would be helpful!
Thanks,
Dennis

Who determines the abuse? For example I was at a Hummer Happening and damaged the inner wheel well, obviously not abuse when the course was designed for Hummer owners. If I launch the thing off a hill and crunch the skid plate..yep I pay, but if it is moderate off road use (as covered in the owners manual) and something breaks (say transfer case goes) what then? Is it up to me to proove it was reasonable use or up to them to proove abuse?
Thanks for you thoughts!
