Default Slantback for SUT now being produced and sold

Dunno if I'm the only one who noticed this but teakatoys is now selling a slantback for the H2 SUT, in addition to a slantback much like the original for the H3T

LOL! $5,999.00...yeah, they'll be lining up around the block to buy those.

I guess I just don't understand the H2 'slant back.' Makes the truck look 'odd' in my opinion...like it's a wannabe SUV. If you want to protect stuff in your bed why not just get a tonneau cover and call it a day. The slant back just seems to have more cons than pros: it limits the height of what you can carry in the bed, it gives you one more thing to open/unlatch before you can get to the bed, it increases your blind spots...the only pro that I could see is that the huggers might mistake you for a Hybrid from that back-side angle 'cause it gives you that same relative shape.

...2?

My initial thought was the slant back look was get that H1 look that the military drives. The slant back is a pretty common trait to the hummer.

I would agree that slantback is common to the H1 and Hx but it just looks like an 'add on' on the H2s IMO.
