Although I won't have mine for another five weeks, I just thought I'd ask the forum about officially starting the Hummer Wave..kinda like grassroots starting here??
As a long time Corvette owner, one of the unique things of ownership is the fact that most Vette owners wave at each other when they pass on the road. Vette owners have a saying called "Save the Wave." The experience is very unique and I've owned many cars over the years. The closest thing might be when I bought my first BMW in the early 80's and other Bimmer owners would flash their headlights at you.
Anyways, when I get my H2, I will be waving at every H2 I see on the road, even if they wave back or not. What do you guys think?

It's already started in Birmingham, Alabama. There are a lot of H2's on the road here. It's kind of a two fingered half-way salute.

Gotta do the wave. I have already waved to a few H2 owners and one H1 owner and got waves back from them all. Been doing the Corvette wave for years as well.

well I do the wave too.
On our xmas trip home we passed a gorgeous Blue H1 on the highway on the way to our destination. 3 days later we are on the same highway at the same exact spot and we pass it again! I don't know who had more of a look of amazement, us or them?
They did wave however.

I think a very discrete, yet recognizable lift of the hand from the steering wheel is good. Lets not start hanging out the window or anything.

Got flashed for the first time by another Hummer! responded the same with a double pull on the light switch. I would have never seen a wave, as we were in four lanes of traffic with snowy/rainy conditions.
