Default Speaking Of Light Bars... Has any one Had An....

higher engine temp problems mounting "Driving Lights In the Grill"?

Just bought a Warn Light Bar and 4 PIAA Driving Super Whites for my 09 H2.. As you can see in the link the light bar is mounted to the GM wraparound Brush Gaurd. The lamps will be in front of the grill openings... Just curious if this might effect motror temps in the hot weather.

The lamps shown in the link are Warns brand. I don't have a front mounted winch.

Cool...L.O.L..... I notice you went with the Lamp Clamps The ones I've seen only go down to 1.5 inch Diameter. My GM Gaurd is 1 .1/4 inch diameter.. Did your lamps come with thse clamps?

And use got a Hole in the middle..for air to pass thru..

I hate to say this, but I'm not sure of the dia.? I bought them from an offroad shop. The only modification I did was to use a piece of rubber around the bar to avoid screwing up the powder coating.

I was going to get just the clamps and mount them like yours but the newer 09 HUMMER H2's Wrap around Brush gaurd must be 1/4' Smaller in diameter then the older H2's....I guess.

Thought of doing the insert thing but then I saw the Warn Mount. It's sweet. I put it up to the mounting holes on the gaurd and it's in perfect alignment.

Your rig looks excellent with those lamps mounted there. The next step is to get some Fog Lamps down under the gaurd for me.

Also you missed my last question...
