I got the badge from a Ford site of all places. Just googled 408 stroker and the site popped up. Hate to have Ford crap stuck to my truck, but who would know its a Ford item....
If you just want some oomph, you could opt for bolt ons and be done with it. This was a family project, and one of my missions was to get my Dads new shop up and running, which it did. Attracted a lot of attention around the village.
I most likely will not be able to do another build like this, so I decided to do it right. Now my focus is on suspension, making sure its bulletproof for my big trip next year. Dont need a broken tie rod in the mountains of Poland or Romania...
