Hello everyone. I've been lurking around here for a little bit and decided to register. I'm a Firefighter in Florida and in love with Hummers in general, Im interested in seeing what the new H3 looks like.

Welcome.
I just saw a couple of new pics in one of the Offroading or SUV magazines yesterday. They're on the newstand now. I'll try to look for them again if you can't find them.
Most of the pics on the web are of the same disguised rig. Not very good pics, either.

The inside scoop from people in the industry is that the primer black H3 prototype we have been seeing is NOT what the final H3 body style is planned to look like.

Kinda like what happened with the H2 i guess...I went to Epcot this weekend and at the GM test drive ride they have a showroom of cars at the end and there was a white lux H2 on the floor. That was the first time I've been inside an H2, it was sweet. I'm absolutley in love. Too bad a public service job doesn't pay better.
Does the rearview give you any trouble with aft visability, with it being hung all the way on the windshield?

So are you still a Probie? Are you on an engine or truck company? Start taking some officer test and you will be driving an H2 in no time. Welcome to the board, brother.

Welcome Fireman. I hope you find this forum entertaining and informative.
Re: Rearview visibility. I left my spare inside in the original location. I've gotten used to it and have no problem. Of course, one has to effectively use the outside mirrors to supplement. Others have installed rear view cameras with dash-mounted or visor-mounted display.

Hey brother! I'm glad I'm not alone here...
I'm not a probie, but still a rookie, I only have just around a year and a half on. I ride an engine. I'd love to move to the truck some day, but the darn waiting list is looong.
I'm in paramedic school, after that I'm gonna take FO1..so we'll see. What about you, bro?

welcome fire-dude. Don't put too much expectation into pre-production pics.... glad to have you here!
Watch the auto mags and Hummer.com for the best insights into what's to come with new Hummer rigs. (in that order).
