What an excellent end to the day...
As most of you know, I'm in the bodyshop business. The last 3 weeks have been ROCKIN'. We've been extremely busy.... life's good for now. The last couple of months things have been slow which normally is no big deal but my other bodyshop is doing terrible. I've put about 30K into the other shop in the last month or so.
It's one thing to rob Peter to pay Paul when business is good but when my main shop is slow, you can't rob Peter if he ain't got no money.
Anyway, the checking acct. is doing better and I left work today feeling like I could see daylight again.
As I was getting ready to leave, I was searching for some paperwork and opened up my lower drawer in my desk.
Inside one of the folders in there (which I never use) was about half a dozen checks from customers/insurance companies totalling just under 10K.
WOW, talk about a freebie. The check dates were within the last couple of weeks and I have NO IDEA how they got down in that folder but talk about good luck.
So, just wanted to share my smiles....
