Default tire monitoring system

question to the experts here. took my h3 into the dealer because the check engine light came on. The said there was a loose cable by the fuse box. the kicker is they said they also reprogrammed the system?. my tire monitoring system know always show low tires, they are at 35 lbs actually too high. I had the system adjusted months ago and it worked fine. I think is was adjusted to 27lbs before it came on. now they say they cant go below 29lbs. i know the tires or even higher that 29. what have they done to mess it up and why cant they return it to the way it was before i took it in or am i being feed a line of crap.

Maby try resetting the monitors on each tire. There is a description how to do this in your owners manual. The only thing I can think of happened is when they reprogrammed the computer it reset the TPM.

Which tires do you have? The recommended PSI on the Bridgestones is 35 and my sensors go off at around 30. Sounds like you just have the pressure too low.
