Anyone know how much fluid the H2 trannie holds??

Putting a heavier/deeper pan on and I cannot find anywhere the capacity specs on the transmission.

Thanks for the help!!

From GM Powertrain site,
Fluid Capacity (Approximate):
Dry: 7.9L (8.4 qt) (with 245 mm converter)
Dry: 10.8L (11.4 qt) (with 300 mm converter)
I would say we have the large converter and stock pan.

According to the factory service manual:

Fluid Capacity Specifications

Pan Removal = 5 Quarts
Overhaul = 11 Quarts

Keep in mind that the torque converter and transmission are still full of fluid. That's the difference in capacities.
