So what is everyone's opinion on what will happen after August 1st?

Will they extend the offer on the '05's till they are gone? They can't seriously expect to sell them at a higher price can they? Or will we see an even bigger discount on the ones still sitting in a month or two? I know all of the lots around here still have over a dozen '05's and no '06s in yet?

They will most likely just start offering high rebates or other incentives on all remaining 05's, since the 06's are coming in. The 06's will probably not have much in the line of huge rebates or offers for at least a few months. That's my opinion.

My wife thinks I am crazy because I want the SUT and want to ditch my Escalade. I test drove one today and solidified the fact that I like it. Even had a guy roll his window down and tell us that it was the coolest truck he had ever seen.

Unfortunately I need to sell my vehicle as the trade in value is in the pooper.

I just think there will still be some deals to be had later in the year on what is left?? Gambling....

I think the "price" will go back up to what was before. However, new higher rebates and dealer marketing support will make what you really end up paying go down even further. The longer you wait, the better the deal...
