Just installed the Airaid cold air induction and the throttle body spacer. I haven't done a test drive yet, but I will keep you posted. Easy install.

Drove the H3 with the new parts. About what I expected. Not a huge difference. Better throttle response and a feeling of more power up in the power band. The TB spacer has a whistle to it. Some might not like that. It gives a sound similar to a turbo charger, but not too noticeable. I need to find an intake tube to go from the MAF housing to the throttle body. This will make more of a difference because I can loose the air silencer box.

where are the air baffles? are you talking about the black box over top of of the enging right before the throttle body?
if so, that is what i want to get rid of. that was a disapointment to me about the kit.

any luck? I would think it should eliminate the box. most of the other kits seem to be a solid tube straight to the throttle body.

no luck. the tube doesn't quite reach. there is also an air tube running into the back of the black restrictive box that would need to tie in. i have looked at some other kits that eliminate the box, i might have to buy a different one. no worries. thanks for your input.

If you eliminate the air box you will defeat the purpose of the CAI- it will just be sucking in hot under hood air.
