Re: Hunting Pics
Pheasant season opened end of October first of November, rifle season is open now, we were hunting in southeast Nebraska, Jefferson county. I wish that was my backyard I live in a one bedroom apt. in Houston, Tx. my boys look alike cause they're father and son. Tim, If it helps, I leave the end of this month to hunt pheasants north of Amarillo for two days then cut across to the Tucson, Az area to quail hunt three days before heading home and getting ready for a west Texas quail hunt in Jan. and CP come on I always post tastefull stuff but do enjoy checking about a little distastefull stuff now and again

Yep, down around Syracuse and Tecumseh were always cherished spots of mine. Bag limits of 3 roosters were usually attainable...before 9 am. Then throw some quail into the mix! Dog always got a workout. I'm glad you posted this...it brought back a lot of fond memories. The grouse hunting in Alaska does not compare at all. Tons of birds and bag limits are high, 15 per day and 30 in possession, but there isn't much of a challenge. Thanks again.

Little town called Gruver, north of Amarillo there is I think about 1100 acres public land just need the 48 dollar public land permit and your set, I'll be staying with a Friend in Borger and heading out opening morning, dec 1 usually good hunt first 2 weeks on that property then they move out from pressure I'm told you cant open your eyes without seeing birds this year should be great
