H3 Fan
Hi, I am hoping someone may be able to assist me, as I have to mount a fire extinguisher on the floor ahead of the front passenger seat of my '06 H3. This is necessary to pass the annual license test of the vehicle in Qatar. I previously mounted a similar fire extinguisher in my '91 Jeep Wrangler, but the H3 has very plush carpets, etc. in comparison. I am concerned that there may electical cabling concealed in the small moulding directly under the seat area, which appears the be the best place to drill holes for the mounting screws. I do not want to damage anything. Thank you.

Re: H3 Fan
There are no wires. To be safe pull the carpet up and make test cuts where you plan to make penetrations and check with a light B4 drilling.

Re: H3 Fan
There ARE wires under the seat and a heater duct that runs under the carpet.
