I'm looking to add more "oomph" to my H2.. it seems that my truck has this lag when i stomp on the gas pedal (not too good when entering the freeway or passing cars) I already added a volant intake system but was wondering if changing my exhaust would make any difference.
i read somewhere that the stock muffler is so efficient that it wouldn't matter.
besides supercharging what new methods/products should i get for my 2005 H2?

By ruling out the superchager, you have severely limited any real performance gain. You are just not going to get much improvement with bolt-ons.

i was afraid of that..the only reason i ruled out supercharging is that when i wanted to supercharge my Tahoe, earlier this year,i couldn't find any authorized dealers here in Hawaii...and since the best warranty i found was only for 3yrs. i thought it best to wait for 2yrs..if i can find an authorized dealer out here i'll probably do it.
did you buy your H2 without the supercharger and added it later? any problems with it being supercharged?

I would caution against the exhaust uless you like a large increase in exhaust noise with negligible performance results. I installed the exhaust on mine and it does make the hummer sound like a hummer. However the highway drone, and the ability to actually hear how hard the engine struggles gives me some regret. I agree with Klaus. The only thing which will make the H2 a fast truck is the supercharger. I wish I had one. To give you some idea what you are up against, just picture a corvette pulling a four thousand pound trailer.

Unless you buy an SMA Fox Truck, you cannot get a supercharger from the factory with a full warranty.

All SC's are on aftermarket. It is true that any real performance gain is with an SC.

Have an ASE Certified shop do the install or find liberal dealer who will do it.

If it can't be found in HI, then you are stuck with an air intake, headers, exhaust and a predator programmer--you will see those gains but not the same gain per dollar as an SC.

Great one Klaus. That's one heck of a hair dryer.
