seat won't fold
One side of my 2nd row seat won't fold down. It has before. Any lock that I might have to depress to unlock the seat? Thanks

Re: seat won't fold
Assuming that your folding the bottom part all the way forward, I would then check the cables going from the feet of the butt part, at the seat "track"(persay) they release the lock on the "back" part of the seat to fold down/forward.
Personally never seen those broke, but anything could happen.
- If this makes sense
Just make note the seat hinges/mechanisms were all changed in 04 ( I believe) Everything was made beefier (for safety I believe, involving the upper harness to the middle rear seat.) I know this because you can get recliner kits for the 04+ rear seats
- Just fyi for part diagrams

Re: seat won't fold
yes the bottom part folds up but the top part seems locked in place. I do remember seeing the cables toward the bottom so I have to take a better look at those..

Re: seat won't fold
Make sure that the bottom part is coming all the way up...or the cable won't unlock the back section. You might have to move your front seat up a bit or just tilt it up if it's reclined.

Re: seat won't fold
My drivers side rear seat back wont come down even with the seat bottom all the way up. I simply grab the cable with my hand and give it a slight pull and then the seat back comes down with no problem. Obviously the cable has stretched a little, but don't know of anyway to adjust it to take up the slack.

Re: seat won't fold
I made sure my seat was all the way up and still no good. O.k. so where do I pull the cable from to make the seat fold. Kind of annoying me now. Thanks

I think you answered your own question... yes?
Just grab the cable and give a pull sideways, unless it's become detached it should release the seat back with no problem.
