I feel like an idiot, okay, so be nice. I used the forum's FIND to look up XM and got no hits.
Is there/was there an XM radio option for the H2 (in the heat of spending gobs of money on mine I never thought to ask). I know GM has it on their Denali/Tahoe/Yukon/Truck series.
Also, I am not big on aftermarket stereo equipment anymore because you lose the interfaces to the steering wheel controls etc...but would love to have MP3 read capabilities w/o having to convert to .cda format as well.
Thanks.

THERE IS AN ADAPTER THAT IS MADE SO THAT YOU CAN STILL KEEP YOUR STEERING WHEEL CONTROLS WHEN YOU GO INTO AFTERMARKET STEREOS. XM WAS NOT OFFERRED AND I WILL GET YOU THE BRAND NAME FOR THE ADAPTER IT SELLS FOR ABOUT $70 I AM GETTING MINE INSTALLED ON FRIDAY. GETTING A ZAPCO 350 FOR SUBWOOFER AND A ZAPCO 350X2 FOR THE MIDS AND HIGHS. SUBWOOFER IS A JL AUDIO 10W6 AND SPEAKERS FOR FRONT AND MIDDLE DOORS ARE POLK AUDIO MOMOS 6 1/2 WITH SEPARATE TWEETERS, ALPINE HEAD UNIT WITH 6 DISC CHANGER. THEY ALSO NOW MAKE AN ADAPTER FOR THE ONSTAR SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO MODIFY ANYTHING. WILL LET YOU KNOW HOW INSTALL GOES, AMPS AND SPEAKERS ARE ALREADY INSTALLED. BUT BOSE HEAD UNIT STILL WEAK SO AM UPGRADING TO ALPINE HEAD UNIT WITH XM.

Sounds Nice,
You have got to post pics when its all said and done with okay.
I am in Hawaii, and for some reason XM is not offered here... Doesn't that defeat the perpouse of Saltlite radio if you can't get it everywhere?
But anyways, wish I could get it. One of the reasons I have been holding off on getting my audio system updated... with LCD screens and speakers...
Does anyone know if the make prefab speaker houseing for the H2 yet?

Does anyone know where to get a "PIE" aux. input
adaptor for installing an XM radio in a 2003 H2?
I have read that it's better than using a Frequency modulator.
Where can I get the APPROPRIATE "PIE" unit that
will work with a 2003 H2 (In dash 6 disk changer
and ONSTAR)?

I'd look on www.pie.net. I've looked and I don't think such an adaptor exists.
