I got to do a little off roading this morning...unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it) with a demo model not mine. I had to go to Dobles in Manchester to sign some paperwork for my order and they threw me the keys to their demo. Once outside the salesman gave me a little "wink-wink nod-nod" about an open construction site near the Manchester airport about 5 miles from the dealership as they are still waiting on insurance company approval of thier off road course.

So I got to have a little fun...enough to make my 5 year old daughter in the back seat cry. I had the whole family with me, my 8 year old son was laughing and asking me to "do donuts" and my wife was giving me the "are you supposed to be doing this?" look which was accompanied by the "I don't want to have to pay to fix this" comment.

It was my 1st time driving the H3 and I must say I am impressed. Love the ride height and the sure-footedness on and off road. Braking was very good also. I didn't think the small engine was an issue...not buying it for speed, but felt that the vehicle power was sufficient. My wife drove back to the dealership and she liked it as well. The Monsoon system is good, but I was expecting a little more "top end" out of the system, but it is good.

It was a fun 1st ride that will make my 6-8 week wat even harder!
