Default Pro Comp wheels

Anyone have these?

Pro Comp Xtreme Alloy Series 8069 Gloss Black 18x9 - 8x6.5 - 4.75 BS

As far as the backspacing goes, is 4.75 ok if I plan on doing the Cognito 2-3" leveling kit (with all the other needed parts)? I will most likely be running 37/13.5/18" or 325/65/18 35" tires? For background I will probably only go offroading 4-5 weekends a year.

I know that many run the Mojave Teflons 18x9.5" wheels and absolutely love them, and these are my two choices that I'm torn between... Any help would be appreciated.

20x10" wheels? For off roading... I was reading some posts and they were already saying the 18" wheel is too big. Granted I'm only going a few weekends a year, but I've always been about using the car/motorcycle for what's intended for and the H2 is no different.

Does anyone know if a 4.75" backspacing will work with a 13.5" wide tire on an H2 with a Cognito leveling kit?

I run 37x13.5 tires on 18x10 wheels with 4.5" backspacing and get moderate rubbing at full lock, especially when compressing the suspension (torsion bars are cranked so truck sits almost level). I trimmed the lower 4-5" off the inner fender, as it was getting chewed up. On 9" or 9.5" wheels, you're likely to get less rubbing on the fender, but the 4.75" backspacing may result in some minor rubbing on the frame and sway bar. Another concern is if you have rear air ride...more backspace puts the tires closer to the air ride sensors, which could cause damage when offroading.

I would bet the individual that wrote the post has never wheeled with a 20in rim setup. With a 35+ in tire there is still plenty of rubber. Ive wheeled what is arguably the toughest orv in the east on 20's and have yet to see how a 17 or 18in rim could possibly out perform my setup. In fact i have been told by on lookers that my 20in rim with 35in tires has out performed a 17in rim with 37in tires

You will want to stick with 20's.

Btw, txsut just pretends to know what hes talking about.

I do not have the rear air ride suspension.

Ok, so the consensus is that I will be fine with a 9" wide wheel with 4.75 backspacing running 13.5" wide tires?

Thanks I just want to be absolutely sure before I buy a setup and finding out later that it doesn't work...

Not that simple. Even with stock tires/wheels, different H2s have different rubbing issue. Too, you're adding the Cognito kit (which in theory should help). Imho, no way to tell until you try with your own H2. Make sure you can return/exchange tire/wheel, or buy 'em used/cheap on eBay.

H2F... Thanks, yeah I've read that different H2's rub in different places and some don't rub at all... That seems very odd to me. In any case, I saw these wheels online and I think most of them say once its mounted it's non returnable... And even it it was there's the 10-15% restocking fee and shipping charges... So if it doesn't fit then I basically threw away $$$ and got That's why I was hoping to get an answer here. At least you and everyone else is being honest... I know if I asked the place I'm getting it they would assure me it would fit, and not let me return it when/if it doesn't... So I take it even if I go with a setup that many others are using I can potentially increase rubbing on my car even if they have no rubbing... That really makes things difficult.

I think I might as well do it. Worst case scenerio, I sell it here and will probably loose less $$$ than trying to return/ship back to the store.

Offroadin, so what were the results of your rim upgrade?
13.5 was too big?
