When the offer is presented, shut up. The first one to speak loses.
When I bought CP's car, the salesman came out of the tower, presented the deal and shut up. I sat there for just over 4 minutes, dead silent, while he was fidgiting around and I swear he started to sweat. He finally broke.
He took the counter back to the tower and when he returned to present the deal, he shut up. Again, I out waited him.
We got a very nice deal and he was paid $50.
