Re: Repair shop in Massachusetts
I always go to places, where they will let me observe -- the kind of shops that are transparent and that are also not pressed for time and pressured by the manager to utilize the garage bay for the next customer.
I want them to show me the defects they happen to discover, missing bolts, cracked header, etc., to allow me to bring my own parts, and to not mind that I observe and chat with mechanics while they are servicing and installing the parts on my truck.
I had good experiences with:
- Everett Transmission
- Neighborhood Wrench in Natick
For dealer service, I prefer Westboro, rather than Norwood (reps who blatantly lie when I questioned about the actual details of "Gold Package" service)
