anyone know the best place to unhook the factory subwoofer..? i am adding new ones.. and would like to turnoff the factory one..

Why do you care if you leave your stock sub connected or not. I left mine connected when I added my aftermarket stereo and my new subs overpower the factory anyway.

well im keeping the factory navigation just for navigation and adding anthor headunit for music movies and other stuff.. so i dont want any sound comming out of the factory sub..

I added a sub and left mine connected too.

It produces decent midbass up front.

does anyone know were i could connect into the factory sub.. i want to input a different source than what is comming out of the factory head unit.. so i would need to tap into wires after the bose amp before the sub.. thanks

yes, after the bose amp. . .

The car audio shop used a line output converter on mine. Its not ideal for sound quality but its good enough for bass.

Actually, you can get the wires (4 of them, dual voice coils) AT the bose amp in one of the plugs. You will likely want to series the 2 voice coils as they are very low impedance. Don't forget the crossover!

would you happen to know what color the wire for the sub are commin gout of the amp?

They are larger gauge wires in the smaller of the 2 plugs at the amp. The colors are: blue/black stripe and green (coil 1), green/black stripe and blue/white stripe (coil 2).

For $60 they have an interface that plugs into your Bose amp and creates two pairs of RCA outputs. I was actually planning to order one tomorrow to run my aftermarket amp/sub.

where IS the facotry sub located? I can't find it but i supposedly have one. I mai-ordered my h2 and had it shipped so i never had a chance to go over it w/ the salesman.
