The haters are in full effect here in Philly.
Went wheeling in the NJ Pine Barrens last weekend and now the truck has a nice coat of mud front to back. I live in the city and for the most part I get the thumds up when she is dirty, but this morning getting in to go to work, some tree hugging ghey pansey ass wrote "SCUM BAG" across the entire drive's side; ruining a perfectly good mud pack. What an idiot....it still amazes me that people will actually hate you for the vehicle you choose to drive. i would have loved to catch them in the act. I knew when I bought the 3 that I would catch some flak. I do wake up to the occasional hood loogie or paintball on the window. Nothing serious yet, thank god but I have a feeling it is only a matter of time. I will take pictures before I wash her tomorrow.

i hate it when peopel are like that the other morning we wake up to find some key marks on my moms brand new car, and her old car people would write pig on it when there was condensation on it, the old one was an ML500 so it was also a gas over drinker

Y,
Sorry to hear about your incident.
If you want to get it dirty again the first weekend in October, I'm trying to get up to RC for some fall foliage wheeling. Hopefully we can find some trails there that are less taxing on the wallet than last time!
Let me know.

Re: The haters are in full effect here in Philly.
I did take a closer look today and the mud had sand in it, so when the butt pirate used their finger to write they also made some nice little scratches underneath. I will have to increase my wheeling to cover up the new blemishes, custom pine stripes. A group of H3's are getting ready for an October 20th run to RC. Can you make it? A nice drive throught the woods, nothing too extreme.

Re: The haters are in full effect here in Philly.
I was out on my motor bike the other day and I pulled up behind a car that had a tree hugger sticker on the bumper. My question is, as a Hummer owner should I have defaced their auto because of something they believe in ?

Re: The haters are in full effect here in Philly.
You can't fix stupid.
I've mentioned before that there are many hummer hate forums and groups on the net. You should all google them and post to them, educate these morons because most of them hate hummer because people told them that they should and they never bother to research hummer on their own so they have no real information.
When I go to the hate forums, I don't talk down to them or insult them in anyway I simply give the facts about hummers and other vehicles to let them know there are far worse vehicles out here than the hummer and if they would take to time to do a little research they would find that out for themselves.

Are you doing the Crawl for the Cure event or just getting a group together on Oct. 20th?

Re: The haters are in full effect here in Philly.
Anyone have experience with getting the scratches out of the paint; so I don't have SCUM BAG etched into the side of the rig. It is not down to the metal, just the top I guess clear coat. I hear clay bars or something like that, any waxes etc....suggestions PLEASE HELP.

I had someone try to key my rear passenger door in a back and forth motion .. almost half of the whole door. I took it to the carwash I frequent and they had a liquid they use for scratches. They took them all out in under 5 minutes .. no charge. I was so grateful that I gave the guy a huge tip. The scratches didn't go down to the paint, but seemed deeper than an insignificant scratch. Go to a carwash that offers detailing .. they are the ones who have that liquid. Re: claybars ... they do a GREAT job, but save that for total detailing. Good luck!

For light surface scrathes, Meguiars Cleaner/Wax works really well.
