Default Sundaaaaaay!

What's everyone up to at the end of this holiday weekend?

I saw the nastiest thing in the world this morning. I went to get something out of our guest closet and the ENTIRE guest bathroom is covered in tiny flies!!! There must have been millions, one wall was almost black with them! They were coming from a plant I have in there - I watered it on Thursday like I always do, but I've never seen these gnats/flies before! I killed most of them in the soil with bug spray and then got the rest of them with a wet paper towel. They died easily but it took an hour to get that mess....it was nast-ee. Not to mention downright creepy. Ick.

Hubby is working a 24-hr shift so I'm stuck at home with the baby and the toddler. At least the day is about 1/3 over. I'm so looking forward to 8 tonight when they're in bed.

I've been waiting all day for a woman to start the sunday thread.....

I'm at my Moms today playing MR FIXIT with the water heater, it got an attack of the "WELL WATER BACTERIA BLUES"...2 1/2 gallons of bleach should cure it, one more drain and fill , then flush the lines and I can go home

BTW...

The Onion Flat was good this morning with fresh sliced onions, low fat cream cheese and sliced sable (for a change)

and my mommy made me a great late lunch...franks(Kosher) and beans (Bushes Steak House), WOW !!!

Already drank 5 glasses of home brewed fresh ice tea,

wait,

gotta go behind the bushes... AHHHHHHHHHH !!! feel better now

Down here in South Florida the grass (the kind on the ground) is growing so fast because of all the rain and with gas at Costco @ $4.01. 9/10 you gotta let it get a little longer...the DAM DIXIE CHOPPER drinks a lot...

Got to pick up Mr F*cker tomorrow morning at 10:15 from the Cat House since the tenting is finished..dam expensive @$20.00 a day...

LATER....!!!!

We just picked up our dog who was at the neighbor's all week. She had surgery to be spayed but still had the hormones so the twins were lust-filled crazy. It was better to have her across the street so we could go over every day, etc. She's home now, all is well.

We were going to go see Hancock but thought we'd go tomorrow instead since we'd have more time. Today we went to Pier Park and did some shopping (Yankee Candle Store, Ulta, Borders) and got coffee.

Later I'm making this and we got two porterhouse steaks to grill out. Watched him cut them fresh yesterday. Our holiday is now and tomorrow since he had to work Fri and Sat.
