Just got a super price on a Warn 9000 portable multi-mount winch package for my H2.
The total price delivered was $896 from an online Company called GoWarn.com.
Best price I had seen before was around $1200.
I figure if I am gonna have this great H2 and use it like it was meant to be used I for sure am gonna need a winch......

Wow, how'd you find it?
I'm assuming you're talking about the xd9000i, WAR37441?

hey guys, question....I like the idea of the portable winch, is it your practice to install the winch when you go off-road or wait until you get stuck and need to use it to recover the vehicle? I would assume that you loose a little bit on the approach angle with the winch installed. Just wondering what your thoughts are?
Big Z - Nice looking rig.... Oh, any reason to get the Patriot over the Warn?

Thanks for the compliments!, Outstanding Rigs they Are! I looked and priced, read the specs and asked plenty of questions. Besides wanting something different, the color red on the Warn winch clashed with the Hummers color, and I thought the blue was a better choice. (Just Kidding). No, the two are just about equal, Warn is more $$ due to the name. What put it over the top was, getting more for the buck. Winch, roller fairlead, remote control, cradle and installation for less than the Warn setup. Figure I saved close to $300, And I think it looks better, (on my rig) anyway.

I go off road, it goes on the front--Don't want it beating up the cargo area.
