Default How to remove door pulls and hood latches?

Ok, there is a dealer here who has some used H2's with black hood handles and latches, and door pulls. I spoke to the used car manager today, and he said if I wanted to do the work I could swap some chrome parts for black parts.

I know the hood handles are easy to get off, and I suspect the latches wont be too bad. I'll have to look at mine when I get home tonight.

What I don't know is; how do the door pulls come off? Do you have to take the inner door panels off to get them off? I would really like to get them, but I am afraid they might be a little too in depth for him to let me do. I doubt he is going to let me start taking the doors apart!

If you are talking about the exterior door handles and buckets...yes, you have to take the inner door panels off. I know there is a previous thread on the whole process, that I followed when I switched mine out. It is a little difficult getting inside the door to remove the nuts, especially the front doors, because you have to get the wrench between the window glass and the door. If I can find the previous thread I will post a link to it.
Also, if you are looking for the black buckets and black handles, I purchased mine off of ebay, brand new from a parts dealer, for about $30.00 each.

That would great if you could find that. I have done some searching on door handles, and did not see anything like that.

I couldn't get the link to post on here

Try typing this address in:

If this doesn't work let me know and I can try and email you the thread.

Also here is a listing number on ebay for a door handle: Item number: 350353695728
