Aftermarket Performance
I was needing some advice as to whether or not I should tune my H2 engine to get better performance ie, horsepower and gas mileage, or should i get new headers, cold air intake, throttle body spacers, and exhaust, i just dont know so i need some advice.... The guys who have tuned their engines say they have had better performance but i have not really run into anyone who has added the complete aftermarket package....

Re: Aftermarket Performance
I don't have any headers on mine but I did put the Hypertec E-Con programmer, Air Raid intake & T-Body spacer and a Flowmaster exhaust. It made the truck a lot more snappier and gave it way more "get up and go". I really didn't notice any city MPG gains but I am getting between 15-16 on the highway. I don't really know what it was before, but I think that is pretty good for a truck that size. Hope this was helpful.

Re: Aftermarket Performance
the flomaster does not make more power on a Dyno than the stock H2 exaust. I have seen this first hand on an 03 H2 ,it will sound Kool and drone at hyway speeds ,but that's it .

Re: Aftermarket Performance
You can see the mods in my signature. I did all the mods for me, as far as performance I think it is better but the major part is I like it. As heavy as we are it is hard without forced induction to "feel" a great difference. I had one issue with my mods and it was with my B&B Muffler and they stood behind their product 100% without any questions. It was great not to get the run around. It runs great and sounds better. it is an 03' and was in the first run with 113,xxx miles.
DO IT, AND DRIVE IT, TAKE IT OFF ROAD GET IT DIRTY, WAX IT AND CLEAN IT UP... IT LOOKS GREAT EITHER WAY JUST DON'T BABY IT!!!
