Default Whistle Intake manifold?

Ok, it seems like the sound is a whistle that is comming from the rear of the intake manifold on the passenger side.

We guess that the rattle sound is misfire, when the air mixture is messed up from a leak?

I am going to look in my alldata, but what do you guys think?

its a 2003 with 95,000 miles.

thanks

never heard one whistel the useualy just hiss .if you have a vacume leak your MIL light should come on and give you a lean misfire bank 1 lean, bank 2 lean. it is not uncommon for the intake gasket to leak at that mileage. get a spray bottle of water and go and find the leak if there is one . spray the water aroung and if the idle changes Bingo you found it .

yep, had the code for lean bank , so, just spray water around the gasket and listen for idle change?

I'll check that out first, and then it looks like I have to pull the manifold and redo the gasket.

I am going to guess that a shop is going to charge a bunch of labor for this? so DIY

I did mine this winter. I have an 03, It had 83K miles on it at the time. Go Ahead and do your fuel injector O-Rings as well.
