Default What really grinds my gears

Is how GM shot themselves in the foot by running the dang soccer mom commercials when they could have been running commercials on the capability of the truck itself. Funniest thing is that as soon as Hummer went down Jeep started running a whole slew of commercials doing nothing other than off road footage. Heck even Lenny Kravitz got in on the action. Don't get me wrong, I think jeeps are great trucks. Just sucks to see an icon go down. I guess the only good thing is the value of my truck has gone down about $700 in the last three years. Yes, that's correct as 3 digits. I honestly think GM would make a good deal of money bringing back the H3 and starting the Hx with a turbodiesel in the 3 and a refined I5 in the x; However, I only think it would work with the right advertising campaign.

Sorry for the Peter Griffin quote, but I see less Hums on the road with every passing day, and I love my overgrown toaster on wheels.

I wish they would bring back the cars, they still own the rights to the brand so one would hope maybe they would bring it back one day with more efficient better engines such as a diesel V6 etc. I ventured over to the Jeep Beach event in the Daytona speedway today with my buddy who's got a rubicon, it was fun and the trucks are neat, but they still don't have the same allure, mystique, and aggressiveness to me as my Hummer, for now there is no vehicle I would want to replace my H3 Alpha for.

Jeep is killing the market with Wranglers. Remember the four door Wrangler only came about because of the four door H3.

Saw a Chevy Colorado with the offroad package and a diesel engine at the dealer. Just a small step to turn it into a capable H3.
