Not dead yet.
I loved to come here because of all the excitement over what we own but wow is all i can say. This site has gone downhill for some reason and its too bad as it was always a good resource for info and laughs. Maybe it will survive but it sure is looking bad now .I guess only time will tell . Take care to all the members left as we seem to be a dying breed.

i want to post and participate like the old days there's just nothing on here anymore to do it : ( and no one ever responds to my threads that i create anymore....sad day

I agree and I have been trying for years to keep it going
It just has something to do with traffic and the lack of ability to keep the site moving like the others :-(
Hopefully Jason will see it dwindling....

See the site cant be completele dead...
Ed is still here even after he traded his Hummer in on a more economical form of transportation (Wasnt it a Vespa?  )

Well hopefully this continues on,maybe a revamping is in order of some type and a little self promotion might be in order. I realize we own not only a unique vehicle but now they seem to be somewhat collectible. Somehow maybe we can rally the troops and continue to be what i thought was the #1 resource for hummer owners.

Why has the list never gone to Facebook posting? Or keep this one and do Facebook too? I know there have been several postings about this a few years ago when we were a larger group and that there have been some that say no way to Facebook. I hate to say as much as I have love this group it really looks to fail just like the Avalanche list too. They failed do to money to run the group in a forum just like this one is and all the group members were left hanging too with nothing but some posts that were archived. And mind you this happened 6 or 7 years ago when the Avalanche had not been cancelled yet so it seems hard to believe this group has much more life but I will hang in here till the end.

It seems as if we have about 13 or so active members, it would be nice to get some input from jason as to the future of the forum. I realize it takes allot of time to run these sites and there is a few of us that would like to keep it going and help if we can.

Yes sir! Thank you! Here's a pic! It sleeps inside and I hand wash it every month (or sooner if needed) and a fresh hand wax when needed! I can guarantee its the cleanest looking Cessna you've ever seen! sorry for the bad resolution picture i had to use one form my phone so it would fit the proper size dimension to upload....PS I literally live for airplanes and flying so if anyone ever wants to talk aviation, you can come to me!
and I vote yes for a Facebook group as well!!! The current hummer fb groups aren't too great : (

Once again, very nice.
I had a 1974 210, that I bought new and sold it in 1999, because I just wasn't using it enough. I really do miss it. It was such a comfortable plane and just about impossible to get out of cg. |
