Hi guys. I am considering buying a 93 H1 and converting it to 6.6 DURAMAX GM ENGINE with new transmision and tranfer case. Any of you guys know of any real challenges with this project.Ie welding new mounts.....

I know predatormotorsports.com is doing it already (not sure of the year)... pretty pricey though...

They can do it to any year truck. The intitial cost is high, however for what you get its well worth it. If your any bit local, even a few hours away I would highly suggest driving down there and have them take you for a spin in one of there D max h1's. I was down there recently and got a ride in there black 4 door soft top, its running around 700 horses and 1200 foot pounds of tourqe. I kid you not, he was spinning the tires up hill on asphalt at around 55mph. Its worth every penny. And not to mention the allison is switchable between 2 and 4 wd meaning you will get around 18-20 mpg...

Thanks guys

I think I can do it here in phx for about $20,000 0r half the preditor price. I just do not have the enginering and was wondering if anyone had any knowledge as to this conversion. I like doing things like this myself. However without the plans it will be a steep learning curve.
But so was my jet.LOL
