The clanking noise at the front turned out to be the Bushings of the front differential. I have been in the forum and there were some earlier posts about this. Does anybody have the experience if this has caused other problems such as rack and pinion problems?
Thanks,
Eric

No I saw clearly that the fron diff. was moving even while shifting from N to D while standing still. And when I would drive away it would make a hard "clanking" noise that could be heard by others on the street.

What good is a Hummer if you don't use it.
