Default transmission fluid question

ok Ive searched trans stuff and have two q's - actually just one q.

1. has anyone had their trans cooler go bad and their coolant was just pink w/ very thin film of oil on top - not milky pink like pepto?

I understand the coolant can sometimes be pink, but i'm missing about 1.5 qts t fluid w/ no leaks, and have to wonder?

From the many threasds I have read, the only references I have found have mentioned that the engine coolant looked like a milky pink color, ie pepto bismol or strawberry milkshake.

I found very thin film of oil on top of my basically clear pink coolant, and my question was and is if anyone has witnesses similar?

As always any feedback is appreciated.

thx

Coolant should be orange, if its pink oil is getting in the cooling system, level should be rising in the bottle over time. Also check for collant in the transmission if this happens an overhaul will be required. The clutches in the trans use A water soluble adhesive and will break down with any contact with water. Seen A few cooler go bad and we have had to overhaul trans, replace all rubber coolant hoses, replace rad, and extensivly flush cooling system. Hope you still have warranty. Sounds like you may have caught it early that would be good. Have it checked out by the dealer or A good mechanic close by I wouldn't drive it cause it will just get worse.
